Design Engineering Manager | WFH

Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for a new Design Engineering Manager to join our team at Cloudstaff, the #1 Workplace Everywhere!

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing design engineering team.
• Conduct regular 1:1s to guide growth and track performance.
• Define clear expectations, KPIs, and measurable success metrics.
• Monitor team scorecards and address performance gaps proactively.
• Collaborate with Product Management to deliver customer-focused engineering solutions.
• Standardize development workflows and improve execution using AI-enabled tools.
• Translate company goals into actionable quarterly engineering priorities.
• Remove delivery bottlenecks while maintaining quality and reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years engineering or product development experience.
• 2+ years leading or managing technical teams.
• Experience delivering system or software development initiatives.
• Skilled in building KPIs, scorecards, and performance tracking systems.
• Strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with strong process and execution discipline.

Preferred:

• Experience manufacturing software, ERP systems, or design automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Experience operating within EOS or accountability-driven frameworks.
• Proven ability to improve team throughput and development velocity.
