Job Summary**

AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED is seeking an experienced and dynamic Design Manager to lead and oversee all design aspects of our infrastructure projects, ensuring innovative, efficient, and compliant solutions.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of design engineers and drafters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Oversee the complete design lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from conceptualization and feasibility studies through detailed design, tender documentation, and construction support.
* Ensure all design deliverables meet project requirements, industry standards, relevant codes, regulations, and AUREOS's quality standards.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, stakeholders, and other internal/external teams to define project scope, objectives, and design parameters.
* Conduct technical reviews and approvals of design drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
* Identify and mitigate design risks, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing solutions.
* Manage design budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost.
* Stay abreast of the latest design technologies, software, and industry best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
* Prepare and present design progress reports and technical documentation to clients and senior management.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all design activities.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional accreditation is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
* Proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water treatment plants, wastewater systems, and/or urban development.
* Strong knowledge of relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, SAP2000, ETABS, Revit).
* Excellent understanding of engineering principles, design codes, and standards (e.g., IS, BS, AASHTO, Eurocodes).
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
