Description
- Location: Ruwais, Abu Dhabi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil discipline)
- 10–15 years of relevant design experience, with 3–5 years in a Design Manager or Lead role
- Lead and manage the design team to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget
- Plan, coordinate, and control design activities from concept to IFC stage
- Review, approve, and sign off on design drawings, calculations, and technical documents
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, international codes, and standards
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments on design matters
- Manage design changes, revisions, and technical queries
- Identify and resolve design clashes, constructability, and technical issues
- Support tendering, proposals, and value engineering activities
- Ensure timely submission and approval of design deliverables
- Lead design review meetings and technical discussions
- Maintain proper design documentation, records, and version control
- Mentor and supervise design engineers, draftsmen, and BIM teams
- Ensure integration of HSE, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements into all designs
- Strong knowledge of design software, standards, and authority approvals
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
