Design Manager – QLD Buildings

What you’ll do

As a Design Manager in our Buildings Team based in Queensland, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and develop solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify and advise on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges, develop design documentation and support construction activities.
  • Deliver high-quality advice that informs client decisions
  • Contribute to resilient and innovative design solutions

What you’ll bring

  • A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes multidisciplinary design and construction activities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in either Project/Design Management or Building/Infrastructure Engineering (e.g. services, structure, utilities, etc).

Location

Our team delivers projects for a wide range of clients throughout Queensland with teams based in Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane as well as many other regional centres. Applications are welcome from throughout all of Queensland.

Eligibility

While not mandatory, it is desirable that you are eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance.
