About EH Group Engineering

EHG is developing cutting-edge fuel cell technology for heavy duty mobility and large-scale stationary power applications. Our uniquely redesigned product is a significantly more compact fuel cell with high power density and lower costs of production. Faced with the challenges of climate change and the transition to a decentralised energy system, EHG seeks to provide high performance and cost-effective fuel cell solutions to our clients and partners.

To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking Mechanical Engineers to design components and assemblies for our compact, high power density fuel cell products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components, modules and assemblies for fuel cell stacks and systems

• Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GD&T)

• Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles

• Support prototyping, build and validation of designs

• Work with suppliers on component manufacture and tooling

• Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering changes in PLM

• Collaborate with simulation, test, electrical and process engineering

Skills and Experience Required:

• BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory

• Minimum 3–5 years of mechanical design experience in a complex hardware engineering environment, with direct experience in fuel cell stacks, electrolyzers, high-voltage battery modules, powertrains, or complex thermal systems.

• Proficiency with 3D CAD (ex. SolidWorks) and in-depth understanding of GD&T

• Understanding of DFM/DFA and common manufacturing processes
