Your New Role

As a Project Manager – Electrical Infrastructure, you will take the lead in delivering high-quality design and project outcomes across Energex Major, Large, and Non-Contestable Customer Connection (MCC, LCC, NCC) projects.

Working within CV Infrastructure Design, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with Energex standards and Australian regulations.

In this role, you will:

Plan, program, and manage concept and detailed designs for Energex projects

Collaborate with Construction Project Managers, design teams, and clients to meet project requirements

Ensure all design reviews, verifications, and validations are completed and incorporated

Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, commissioning, and operational requirements

Monitor and control design budgets and costs, managing any changes with key stakeholders

Coordinate and manage external design consultants and resources

Drive high-quality outcomes across all project deliverables

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience managing Energex MCC, LCC, or NCC projects and designs

Strong understanding of Energex standards, Australian standards, and DNSP requirements (e.g. AS3000, AS3008, AS2067, QECM, QEMM)

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and preparation of design documentation to Energex standards

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Experience managing design programs, budgets, and project deliverables

High attention to detail with a focus on quality and compliance in design

A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong organisational skills
