Design Quality Engineer

A Singapore-based global provider of semiconductor and electronics testing solutions. The company develops advanced test, handling, and automation technologies to support semiconductor manufacturing and serves customers worldwide through its operations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Working location: Serangoon

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute qualification and validation test plans for new semiconductor equipment and product designs.

• Design and conduct Accelerated Life Testing (ALT), stress testing, and reliability tests for critical components.

• Perform statistical and reliability analysis using methods such as DOE, Cpk, regression, and t-test, and provide technical reports.

• Evaluate component and system-level quality and work with suppliers and engineering teams to drive quality improvements.

• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for test failures and product quality issues.

• Track testing defects and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.

• Strong experience in qualification testing, reliability validation, test instrumentation, and problem-solving.

• Knowledge of DOE, Cpk, regression, t-test, and reliability analysis.

• Proficient in Minitab and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.
