- Lead MEP design and engineering activities for 400 kV substation projects from design through construction and commissioning.
- Prepare and review MEP calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQs, equipment schedules, and technical reports.
- Design and review HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and other building services systems.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, UAE regulations, and applicable international standards.
- Coordinate MEP designs with civil, structural, electrical, protection & control, telecom, and other disciplines.
- Review and resolve design clashes, technical interfaces, RFIs, and engineering issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams on technical matters and design approvals.
- Review vendor technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals.
- Provide technical support to construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure timely completion in line with project schedules.
- Review the work of junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
- Identify technical risks and support value engineering, design optimization, quality, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
