Design & Social Media Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile, creative professional who can blend strong visual design skills with social media savvy. In this role, you'll be the primary creative force behind our brand's visual identity while also driving our social media presence — planning, creating, and publishing content that engages our audience of learners, trainers, and corporate clients.

This is a great fit for someone who loves both the craft of design and the strategy of community-building online.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

  • Maintain and evolve brand visual identity across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Design a wide range of visual assets, including e-learning graphics, infographics, presentation decks, brochures, email templates, and event collateral
  • Create engaging visuals for digital campaigns, social media posts, and the website
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to translate learning content into compelling visuals for marketing purposes
  • Manage design projects from concept through final delivery, often under tight deadlines

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a social media content calendar across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok as applicable)
  • Create platform-specific graphics, short-form videos, and animated content to support posts
  • Write engaging captions and copy aligned with brand voice
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community interaction
  • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and adjust strategy based on data
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and best practices in the L&D/EdTech space
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align social content with campaigns and lead generation goals
  • 2–4+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 1+ years managing social media accounts (agency or in-house)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience with basic video editing/motion graphics tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut) is a plus
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both static design work and social content
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)
  • Excellent time management skills — able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
