Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Presenting the trend forecast followed by line presentations.
- Planning and developing ranges.
- Working with buyers and forecasters to develop products to meet a brief.
- Liaising closely with buying and planning teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market, and price points.
- Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to PU, colors, quality, and technical parameters.
- Experience in getting samples made from factories and a deep understanding of pricing along with the product.
- Knowledge of leather for working on men’s accessories.
- Well versed in submitting the required touchbacks with all technical specifications to the factories and understanding design from a technical perspective.
- Ability to locate factories for production.
- Providing training on the product to the front end along with the buyers.
- Well versed in latest designing software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Readiness to multitask and a proactive approach. Knowledge of working on Excel to analyze sell-through rate will be beneficial.
- Designers should have solid experience and a strong portfolio, able to handle a variety of projects with minimal supervision and often take on leadership or mentorship roles within teams.
