Designer Engineer

AT PIAMEX we are looking for a Designer Engineer (draftsman) to join us and service our USA facility, among other things we are looking for someone fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with at least 3 years of experience, automation knowledge is an important plus and able to travel 6 to 10 weeks a year. This position will report to USA and get paid in Mexico.

REQUIERMENTS

• 2D detailing

• Device List

• Cycle time chart & sequencing

• Machine weights & Module sizing

• Overall layout

• Approval drawings

• Spare parts creation (list)

• 2D to 3d conversions in SolidWorks

• Catalog old designs for library reference

• Translation

• Assist with Final Docs

• Collect and upload STEP, dxf, and pdfs for final docs

• Create instructions for tasks

• Stack up tolerance verification (spreadsheet)

• Redline updates

• Maintain task list and progress reporting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of experience in automotive area, automation preferable
• At least tech education as a designer
• Advanced English level
