The Designer I creates mechanical designs, models, and drawings for trailers using CAD software and manages Bills of Materials (BOM) within an ERP system to deliver customer solutions.
The Designer I is responsible for using their knowledge of mechanical design, in creating novel solutions for Fellings customers on time and in budget. This is accomplished through the creation of models and drawings of weldments, assemblies and parts used throughout Felling using Computer Aided Design. Designer I is also responsible for BOM creation with the aid of ERP software.
