Designer - Press
Summary
A graphic designer role on the press/newspaper team at Dubai Culture & Arts Authority: creating and distributing design models to designers, following newspaper pages through to the PDF stage, and ensuring all material follows the authority's identity, standards and guidelines using design software.
· Understands the creative and business needs and determines presentation of illustrative material.
· Distribute of design models to designers, each according to his specialty and do the required changes.
· Follow up on newspaper pages completion till PDF stage.
· Uses design applications/software in the planning process and incorporates the DMI vision and identity (as per the specific newspaper).
· Supports project planning and execution by designing scaled material while applying established standards, formats and guidelines, and supervising adaptation from all parties.
