THE ROLE.
At Gymshark, design sits at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a talented Womenswear Designer to help create innovative, world-class products that inspire our global community and elevate the performance of our consumers.
Working closely with our Design leadership team, you'll play a key role in bringing commercially successful and consumer-focused products to life. From identifying emerging trends and understanding athlete needs to developing seasonal collections and presenting concepts to senior stakeholders, you'll be involved throughout the entire product creation journey.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.

Designing and delivering commercial inline products across the women's category, ensuring deadlines, quality standards and commercial objectives are achieved.

Researching and interpreting fashion, sportswear and consumer trends to create relevant and innovative product solutions.

Developing a deep understanding of athlete requirements, female fit and performance needs, translating insights into industry-leading product.

Collaborating closely with Womenswear Design teams to maintain and evolve Gymshark's distinctive design DNA.

Creating detailed design specifications and effectively communicating design intent to cross-functional partners.

Partnering with Product Development and Technical teams to ensure fit, construction and performance objectives are successfully realised.

Selecting appropriate fabrics, trims and finishes to support both functionality and aesthetics.

Contributing to seasonal colour development, including the management and approval of lab dips.

Maintaining accurate product information and tracking design evolution throughout the development process.

Presenting seasonal concepts and product strategies confidently to senior leadership teams.

Supporting and mentoring Assistant Designers and Graduate Designers.

Collaborating with multiple departments to ensure creative direction is reflected throughout the product journey.

Travelling domestically and internationally when required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
Essential skills and experience
- Degree-level qualification in Fashion Design, Sportswear Design or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of apparel design, materials, colour, construction, trend research and consumer behaviour.
- Experience working within a design-led product environment alongside Product Development and cross-functional teams.
- A portfolio showcasing a versatile design aesthetic across multiple apparel categories.
- Strong understanding of women's apparel, fit and performance product.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present creative concepts confidently to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
