Deskside Support Specialist - 12-month Renewable Contract
Salary: $35,000 – $45,000 per month
About the role
We are seeking a Deskside Support Specialist to join our team at EIRE Systems (Hong Kong) Limited. This is a role where you will provide high-quality IT support and solutions to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Technical Support: Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user software and hardware issues promptly, managing and prioritizing multiple tickets.
User & Device Lifecycle Management: Administer account setups, handle seamless employee onboarding and offboarding, and manage hardware procurement and device lifecycles.
Systems Administration: Support cloud-based IT infrastructure and core platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, Okta) across Windows, macOS, and iOS environments.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate current ways of working to eliminate friction, optimize internal efficiency, and improve the overall employee tech experience.
Projects & Collaboration: Assist with infrastructure projects (e.g., office relocations, expansions) and document/share best practices across the team.
What we're looking for
Experience: 3+ years in a technical support or IT service desk role.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and managing end-user devices (Windows, macOS, iOS) and cloud applications (Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, Okta).
Problem-Solving: Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues independently.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
