DESKSIDE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - ONSITE

Location: Onsite in Norcross, GA

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for Deskside Support Technician. Ideal candidates must have 2+ years of enterprise deskside support experience. Reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with an office move from Norcross to Alpharetta
- Evaluate hardware to determine if it goes to new office or be e-wasted
- Lifting and moving of equipment up to 50 lbs. Tear down and setup of equipment
- Packaging and palletizing equipment for shipment and then unpacking equipment. Must be able to traverse stairs
- Set up employee workspaces, including laptops with docking stations, desk phones, and other peripherals
- Assist with support of our Credit team on site at Norcross while setting up new office in Alpharetta
- Be able to assist our users with Windows 11/ Office 365 issues after they have been relocated
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma - Required
- Associates degree - Preferred
Experience Required:
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology. This includes knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, operations and life cycle
Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2025)
Standard application installation (Office 365 products), configuration and troubleshooting
Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Job requires partnership with all levels of the organization from personnel to executives. White-glove support
