Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
We are seeking a Desktop Analyst to join our Enabling Services team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver remote and desk-side support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Provide backup support for the Service Desk, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Manage equipment setup, maintenance, and support for desktops, mobile devices, and telephony systems.
- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
- Contribute to system security, documentation, and project/change management initiatives.
Ō pūmanawa | About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in IT support, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and back-end applications.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, SCCM, wireless network administration, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- ITIL certification and experience with mobile device configuration, Avaya VOIP phones, and audio/video conferencing are desirable.
