Summary
Leads enterprise Windows 11 endpoint engineering, automation, and security across APAC, using SCCM/Intune/Autopilot to deploy, patch, and manage secure, compliant desktop environments.
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Engineering professional with 8-10 years of experience to lead enterprise endpoint engineering, support, and continuous improvement initiatives across the APAC region. The role will act as the escalation point for complex desktop-related issues, drive desktop standards and automation, enhance user experience, and ensure secure, stable, and compliant endpoint environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for advanced Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, and endpoint performance issues.
- Design, implement, and maintain desktop engineering standards, frameworks, and Windows 11 build strategies.
- Manage enterprise OS deployment, imaging, patching, and endpoint provisioning using SCCM/MECM, Intune, and Autopilot.
- Support endpoint security initiatives, including BitLocker, antivirus, and compliance monitoring.
- Drive automation, knowledge sharing, documentation, and user enablement programs.
- Collaborate with Service Desk and IT teams to improve incident resolution and user experience.
- Ensure desktop environments remain audit-ready through proactive monitoring and configuration management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of Desktop Engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Windows 11, desktop architecture, gold image creation, OS deployment, and endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtual desktops (VDI).
- Strong knowledge of desktop security, patch management, application deployment, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Hybrid AD Join, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, DLP, EDR, UEM/DEM solutions, and DEX tools.
- Advanced PowerShell automation skills.
- ITIL v4 and Microsoft Desktop Engineering certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
