Desktop Support Engineer

Desktop Support Engineer provides technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices, ensuring end-user productivity. They handle installation, configuration, and repair of workstations (on-site or remotely), manage user accounts in Active Directory, and resolve network connectivity issues

  • Hardware & Software Support: Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting workstations, laptops, printers, and scanners.
  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Resolving issues related to operating systems (Windows/macOS), email, and applications, often through remote desktop tools.
  • System Deployment: Imaging and configuring new computers, setting up peripherals, and ensuring software compliance.
  • Account & Network Management: Assisting with Active Directory tasks, password resets, and user access rights.
  • Asset Management: Maintaining accurate logs of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets.
  • Documentation: Creating technical, step-by-step guides for users and documenting solutions in ticketing systems.
