You will partner directly with our Account Executives and Account Managers to drive the technical win in complex sales cycles. You will listen to client needs, architect payment solutions across Xendit's 7-market licensed infrastructure, and guide clients from initial technical discovery through to successful integration and launch. This is a presales advisory role focused on deal velocity and technical credibility

Minimum Qualifications

Experience & Technical Background

6+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role, preferably in payments, fintech, or SaaS (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Integration Consultant).
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and SDKs. You can read code samples and explain technical concepts to engineers—even if you don't code daily.
Familiarity with payment flows, acquiring, FX, and/or payouts is highly preferred.
Experience working with regional/global enterprise clients is essential.

Core Competencies

Technical Fluency: You bridge the gap between business and engineering. You can whiteboard a solution architecture, troubleshoot API calls, and translate technical capabilities into business value.
Client-Facing Presence: You are comfortable presenting to CTOs and lead engineers, handling objections with confidence, and building trust with technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Mindset: You don't just answer questions—you uncover underlying needs and propose creative, compliant solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for client meetings and internal alignment.

Attributes We Value

Builder Mentality: You thrive in "zero-to-one" environments and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to solve ambiguous problems.
Curiosity: You constantly ask "why" and dig deep to understand client businesses, not just their technical requirements.
Humility & Collaboration: You know that the best solutions come from teamwork—internally with sales, product, and engineering, and externally with clients.

Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin (spoken and written) is advantageous to conduct technical presentations, support presales activities, and build relationships with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners across the region.
