Desktop Support Engineer (L2)

We’re looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer / Deskside Support Analyst to join a busy technology team on an initial six-month contract.

Primarily working within a walk-up support environment, you’ll provide hands-on Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting issues and helping users get back up and running quickly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting laptops, desktops, monitors, docks and peripherals
• Windows desktop support and general troubleshooting
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams
• Resolving user access and account issues
• Troubleshooting desktop and business applications
• Device setup, configuration and deployment
• Managing incidents and service requests through ServiceNow
• Providing friendly, professional face-to-face support to users

About you
You’ll be a capable L1/L2 support professional who enjoys working directly with users and is comfortable operating in a busy environment. Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Previous Desktop, Deskside, EUC or IT Support experience
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting hardware and end-user devices
• Good knowledge of user accounts, access and application support
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to troubleshoot independently and manage competing requests
