Desktop Support Officer
Salary: No contractor fees / two pay runs per week
Contract to 29/01/2027 (Possible Extension) | Brisbane | Up to $47ph plus superannuation
Note: This is a Brisbane CBD office-based role that may require occasional travel to sites throughout South-East Queensland.
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Desktop Support Officer. In this role, you will work within the Service Delivery Management team, serving as the client-focused face of the team to install, maintain, and support enterprise ICT environments across Microsoft Windows and M365 computing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and support enterprise ICT environments across Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, desktop/mobile hardware/software, and conference room systems.
Provide End User Computing support using enterprise platforms including Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, and ServiceNow (ITSM).
Perform analytical and problem-solving support activities within an ITIL-based framework, managing desktop security tools such as Antivirus and Application Allowlisting.
Participate in the state-wide support, maintenance, and deployment of ICT hardware and software across supported agencies.
Deliver high-quality customer service while adhering to quality system documentation and driving continuous service improvement.
Collaborate effectively within the Technology Services Group to support overall team service delivery goals.
About You:
Demonstrable analytical experience identifying, investigating, and solving complex technical issues within large, enterprise ICT environments.
Strong expertise across Microsoft Operating Systems, M365, desktop/mobile hardware, conference room hardware/software, and enterprise end-user management tools (SCCM/Intune/ServiceNow).
Practical working knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) and desktop security controls (Antivirus, Application Allowlisting).
Demonstrated ability to act proactively through self-direction, adopt new ways of working, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
