Terms of Employment:
This is a twelve (12) month in-person position that reports to and is evaluated by the Director of Educational Technology.
.6 position for One Year, then Full Time starting 7/1/2027
The Desktop Support Technician provides advanced technical support for district technology systems, devices, and users while serving as a key member of the Educational Technology Department. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining district-issued technology used by students, faculty, staff, and administrators across multiple school and administrative locations.
The Desktop Support Technician serves as a Tier II technical resource, resolving complex hardware, software, classroom technology, and endpoint management issues while collaborating with Systems Administration staff on enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The position requires strong technical expertise, exceptional customer service, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications:
Required
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience supporting enterprise technology environments.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between district buildings.
Preferred
- Experience supporting technology in a K–12 educational environment.
- Experience with one-to-one device programs.
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or Jamf Pro.
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems.
Experience supporting classroom instructional technology.
