In this role you’ll be responsible for the safe, careful and efficient delivery of our products to our valued clients across Christchurch. Christchurch based with runs to multiple customer sites each day. Hours: 6.00am - 2.30pm, Monday - Friday.

What you're there to do:

Deliver complete manifested loads safely, efficiently and within required timeframes, while complying with all relevant road laws and regulations
Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring products are handled and secured appropriately
Represent the company professionally through safe and responsible driving, professional presentation and positive customer interactions
Provide friendly, respectful and professional service to customers at all times
Support factory operations as required, assisting with general production, handling and operational tasks when needed

Skills & experience you'll bring:

A strong and practice commitment to health and safety
Significant commercial driving experience - preferably using multi transport platforms in a FCMG or Logistics environment along with an understanding of route optimisation
Strong experience in load handling, loading, unloading and load planning, preferably with high end or fragile products including a strong understanding of pack/load restraint practices
Physically able to perform a high number of glass lifts on a daily basis
Current Class 4 Licence (2 years minimum experience). Class 5 is advantageous
Forkhoist license - F endorsement is advantageous
