The Dev Business Analyst works on the Infor M3 Business Engine product, specifically supporting the Financial Business Messages (FBM) module. The role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and communicating business requirements for product development, maintenance, and support initiatives, while contributing to the design and delivery of solutions that meet agreed business needs.

The position spans the full product development lifecycle and requires close collaboration with support teams, consultants, product managers, product architects, developers, fellow business analysts, quality assurance engineers, and technical writers. The Business Analyst is expected to develop a strong hands-on understanding of the product's functionality, business processes, and end-user requirements to effectively support product enhancements and customer needs
  • Participates in development planning for the team.
  • Ensures that product designs successfully fulfill the needs defined in the business requirements.
  • Provides designs and input on coding, quality, and implementation considerations throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Reviews and contributes to product release documentation, such as Configuration Guides and Integration Guides.
  • Supports product maintenance and ongoing support activities.
  • Investigates, validates, and prioritizes the resolution of reported bugs.
  • Carries out various types of testing, including integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and smoke testing of new development work as assigned.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • 3-4 years of experience using, supporting, or testing ERP software.
  • Exposure to software design and development processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and testing skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic messaging standards (e.g., ISO 20022, e‑invoicing, e‑reporting).
  • Understanding of regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with structured data formats (XML, JSON).
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) related work
  • Experience working with ERP platforms/solutions
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, automation tools, or AI-assisted business processes
