Dev Ops Engineer
Job Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build functional systems that improve customer experience. The role requires solid background in software engineering and familiarity with AWS, Docker or Kubernetes. You will execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately and securely, ensuring 24/7 service availability.
Responsibilities
- Support cloud development pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, CloudFormation, Puppet and other tools.
- Support containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Script and automate system tasks to reduce manual repetitive work using Terraform, Puppet and other technologies.
- Maintain and support Node.js applications.
- Participate in production software deployments, working closely with the production support group to ensure proper transition of system changes.
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams.
- Report issues to management and work to identify root causes of system‑related problems.
Requirements
- Familiar with CI/CD tools such as GitLab Pipelines and Jenkins.
- Experience with Firebase is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting distributed systems.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Team player, honest, disciplined, and attentive to detail.
