Summary

Hands-on data engineer/architect building and scaling secure, cloud-native data platforms (ingestion to serving, batch and real-time) for defence, national security and critical infrastructure programmes. Core stack: Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, lakehouse/streaming/warehouse architectures. Active DV clearance is mandatory.

DV Cleared Data Engineers & Data Architects

Datatech Analytics is partnering with a leading UK technology and consulting organisation delivering secure data platforms across defence, national security and critical infrastructure.

This is hands‑on delivery work. The systems you build support mission‑critical decisions.

The role

Design, build and scale modern data platforms in highly secure environments, from ingestion through to serving. Delivery over governance: solve complex problems and get systems into production.

What you'll do

  • Engineer scalable platforms across batch and real‑time
  • Work with large‑scale structured and unstructured data
  • Deploy and optimise cloud‑native infrastructure
  • Partner with engineers and delivery teams on high‑impact challenges

Tech environment

  • Python, SQL
  • Spark, Databricks, distributed processing
  • Lakehouse, streaming and warehouse architectures

Who we’re looking for

  • Active DV clearance (essential). No applications will be considered without Developed Vetting
  • Engineers who build, not just design
  • Proven delivery of production data platforms
  • Architects who stay close to the tech and lead from the front

Scale, security and reliability are non‑negotiable on these programmes. If you’re DV cleared and want to work on systems that matter, let’s talk.
