Summary
Senior Oracle DBA responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing Oracle databases in production environments, including backups, migrations, and high availability setups.
We are looking for an Oracle DBA to join a challenging IT project focused on the operational management, performance and reliability of Oracle databases in critical production environments.
Role Overview
The selected professional will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability and security of Oracle database environments, supporting daily operations, incident resolution, monitoring, upgrades, migrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure daily database operations, including monitoring, performance tuning and incident resolution
• Administer Oracle environments, including installation, patching, backups, RMAN and Data Guard
• Manage Oracle database platforms such as ODA X9, Oracle Standalone and Oracle Data Guard
• Guarantee database security, availability and compliance, including access control, encryption and GDPR-related requirements
• Support technical projects, including deployments, migrations and upgrades
• Document and industrialize operational procedures
• Promote proactive monitoring, automation and continuous improvement
Main Requirements
• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c, RMAN, ASM, Data Guard and ODA
• Experience with backup and restore processes using Commvault
• Experience with administration and monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
• Solid knowledge of Unix, OEL Linux and scripting
• Proven experience in production and high-availability environments
• Strong operational mindset, autonomy, rigor and analytical skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and mission-critical environments
