Developer Experience Director - APAC

You will lead regional developer relations activities and manage Developer Evangelists focused on community and integrations. You will deliver lighthouse integration cases, gather developer feedback with Product Management, and advocate for game developers across online and in-person communities. You will represent the organization at industry events, deliver presentations and workshops, organize meetups and hackathons, and guide the creation of regional documentation, tutorials, demos, videos, and educational materials. You will collaborate on promotion and use performance data to refine priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional developer relations activities in alignment with global strategy and local market needs.
• Manage and mentor Developer Evangelists focused on community and integrations.
• Lead delivery of lighthouse integration cases.
• Partner with Product Management to capture developer feedback and remove adoption barriers.
• Advocate for game developers and maintain a visible presence in online and offline communities.
• Represent the organization at industry events through presentations and workshops.
• Organize and support developer meetups, hackathons, and events around major platform launches.
• Guide creation of developer documentation, tutorials, demos, videos, and educational materials.
• Ensure content supports custom integration and self-service use cases.
• Collaborate with Developer Marketing to promote materials and track impact.
• Review performance with the VP of Developer Relations and adjust tactics using data.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Technical Evangelism.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical background in game development across mobile, PC, or web.
• Hands-on experience with integrations and APIs.
• Ability to lead distributed teams and deliver measurable engagement outcomes.
• Established presence in regional and global game developer communities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
• Experience producing high-quality technical content in multiple formats.
