Developer Platform Engineer with API management

Must-have:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong coding skills in Java or Kotlin, including experience with modern application frameworks and solid API design principles.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major API gateway/management technology (e.g. AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Kong or similar).
- A good understanding of API security, authentication/authorization, traffic management, and resilience.
- Practical experience working with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience building or contributing to a shared cloud platform, developer portal, or platform engineering capability.
- Excellent English skills (minimum B2+), with the ability to facilitate technical discussions and write concise decision documents.
Nice-to-have:
- A broad technical background that touches upon application development, networking, and security.
- Experience with advanced observability, service discovery, and automated operations.
- German language skills are a plus.
