Developer Programmer

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per year

Mintwell is a growing wealth and financial services organisation based in Sydney. We are seeking a skilled Developer Programmer with strong web development experience to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain the software applications, websites and client portals that support our business and clients. You will work closely with management and internal teams to turn business requirements into reliable, secure and efficient solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions

• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and web-based systems

• Build and maintain the company website and client portals, ensuring they are responsive, secure and user-friendly

• Develop front-end interfaces and back-end functionality, including databases and server-side logic

• Integrate applications with third-party systems such as CRM, financial data and payment platforms via APIs

• Write clean, well-documented code in line with coding standards and best practice

• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve application and website issues in a timely manner

• Monitor system performance and security, and support deployments and updates

• Ensure client and financial information is handled securely and in line with privacy requirements

• Prepare technical documentation and provide support to staff

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field

• Proven experience as a Developer Programmer, Web Developer or similar role

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, C#/.NET, Python, PHP or Java

• Experience with HTML, CSS and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular

• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL

• Experience with Git, API development and software testing

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an advantage

• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills

• Experience in financial services or wealth management is highly regarded
