Developer Senior Associate 1

Overall governance
• Ensure understanding of the application/system development life cycle and department's policy, standards, and procedures, to provide guidelines to junior members.
• Support periodic revision of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes and procedures that are relevant to digital application development work, to ensure efficient operation and alignment with company’s policies & compliance with relevant governance.

Function-related accountabilities
• Collaborate and communicate with relevant parties, such as internal and external customers to identify high-level functional and technical specifications and determine suitable best practices in order to develop digital application accordingly.
• Perform activities in the application/system development life cycle, including a flowchart and algorithm design, designing and developing efficient and clean code and data model, integrating application components and third-party programs, etc. to ensure required application/system is completely developed to meet/exceed customers' requirements and specifications and quality standards in a timely manner and in accordance with agreements.
• Perform activities in configuring software/applications/systems as required to ensure requirements are met.
• Supervise junior members in maintaining developed application/system and identify areas for modification/improvement in existing application/system, as necessary to address and handle internal and external customers' concerns.
• Supervise junior members in analyzing and testing application/system in a staging environment before formal launch to ensure products are free of errors and function as intended.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing application/system to ensure application/system operates smoothly and efficiently for end-users and to ensure customers' satisfaction is fulfilled.
• Perform activities in application/system security monitoring to ensure private information and devices of end-users are ultimately secured.
• Supervise junior members in collecting users' feedback and develop various approaches to improve application/system performance to ensure end-users and customers satisfaction.
• Take a leading role in developing technical documentation to ensure all necessary information is recorded to be a reference/guideline for future application/system development projects.
• Initiatiate areas of improvement regarding operational process and quality standards of digital solution delivery to enhance operations.
