Development Engineer, Mechanics- Intern

Develop and support mechanical systems for current and future projects in the Product Development team. Demonstrate a broad understanding of systems and system-interactions for both diesel and electric powered Kalmar terminal tractor. Design subsystems to meet global customer needs, legislation and internal requirements.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Develop new truck components and assemblies.
- Process Engineering change requests and implement design changes.
- According to customer demands, choose design solutions, materials, and components.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you bring to the role:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering field. Junior or higher, strongly preferred
Experience:
- 3D modelling, Catia preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of Google suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides, Google Drive and Calendar).
- Strong work ethic, dependable
