Development operation (CI/CD engineer)

Pantherun is a cyber security and data communications company that has designed a One-of-a-kind Chip and software based Intellectual Property for secure Ethernet Communication using Artificial Intelligence techniques.

Our IP, enables users to integrate secure communication into any chip or product they decide to build or even put into FPGA on their boards. Pantherun builds Ethernet communication products by using FPGA that can work continually and reliably in harsh environments with wide temperature ranges. This allows Pantherun’s product to be truly field upgradable.

Pantherun has subsidiaries in Taiwan, Switzerland, Germany, and USA. Yii Tech (揚毅) is part of the Pantherun Group in Taiwan; we have R&D offices in Jhubei (竹北) and Taichung (台中).

Role Summary
We are looking for engineers who can enhance CI/CD tools for integration/operations and work on the full automation of CI/testing; can co-work with internal development and QA teams to help ensure ultimate quality. Individual should also monitor documentation infrastructure, resolve troublesome issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
He/she can also cooperate with third-party vendors to fix infrastructural problems.

Key Responsibilities
1. DevOps & Engineering Support

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for firmware/software development
• Support build systems, compilers, testing environments, and automation tools
• Optimize system performance for heavy workloads (e.g., FPGA/ASIC builds)
• Work closely with R&D teams to improve development efficiency

2. Development Operations

• Utilize LDAP for user account management, access control, and IT asset inventory tracking
• Provide technical support to engineering teams and office staff, ensuring efficient IT operations
• Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures(SOPs)
• Backup and maintain the Git repositories
• Integrate third-party tools into internal workflows

Requirement

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related fields
• 4+ years of code writing and app deployment;
• Broad working experience with SVN, GIT, etc
• Hands-on experience in installing, modifying, handling, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools
• Experience in excerpting metrics and automated results from CI/CD security tools

Knowledge of installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring software security pipeline tools

• Strong knowledge of widespread cloud computing platforms
• Strong understanding of network essentials and system administration exposure
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor) is plus
