DevEx Engineer at BairesDev
As a DevEx Engineer, you will focus on enhancing developer productivity by building and optimizing internal developer platforms. You will streamline the software development lifecycle, creating a frictionless environment that allows engineering teams to focus on delivering high-quality code.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement internal developer portals using frameworks like Backstage or Cortex to centralize service discovery and documentation.
- Create standardized service templates and scaffolding to accelerate the bootstrap and deployment of new software projects.
- Architect and maintain robust CI/CD platform components to automate software delivery and improve release velocity.
- Manage and scale platform infrastructure using Kubernetes and Helm to provide a reliable base for internal services.
- Develop custom plugins and automation tools in Go or Python to address specific developer needs and reduce cognitive load.
- Engage with development teams to identify friction points and continuously evolve the internal platform strategy.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in DevEx Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
- Proven expertise in building internal developer platforms and developer portals.
- Proficiency with Backstage, Cortex, or similar service catalog frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD platform design.
- Advanced proficiency in Go or Python for developing service templates and scaffolding.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
