DevOps Automation Engineer

Automate internal workflows and customer processes using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and tools like Streamworks, while maintaining Linux/Windows environments for an international insurance group.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and document scripts to automate recurring internal processes
Analyze existing tools and workflows to identify automation opportunities, present ideas, and implement improvements
Support the team in automating customer-related workflows and processes
Investigate operational issues and develop sustainable, long-term solutions independently
Your Skills:
Completed education in IT or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role
Hands-on experience with automation and centralized batch processing (experience with Streamworks is a strong plus)
Motivation to further develop expertise in Streamworks and related tools
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Perl, Python and ideally Bash
Solid understanding of both Linux and Windows environments
Knowledge of z/OS JCL and Java is an advantage
Experience with OpenShift is a plus
Fluent communication skills in English
