DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technology team within the gaming, sweepstakes, and crypto space. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, securing, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments across multiple high-availability platforms.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where uptime, automation, security, scalability, and reliability are critical. You will work closely with development, QA, security, product, and data teams to improve deployment velocity, platform stability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-availability AWS cloud infrastructure

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments

  • Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

  • Manage Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native tooling

  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure platform health and performance

  • Monitor system reliability, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks

  • Support production environments across gaming, sweepstakes, crypto, and payment-related systems

  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, access controls, secrets management, and compliance standards

  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to improve deployment workflows and release reliability

  • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, failover mechanisms, and business continuity planning

  • Assist with infrastructure scaling during high-traffic campaigns, launches, and peak activity periods

  • Support incident management and participate in on-call rotations where required

  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and technical standards

  • Contribute to evolving DevOps standards, tooling, automation, and engineering culture

Technical Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native infrastructure

  • Experience managing production environments with high uptime and scalability requirements

  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Github Actions, or CircleCI

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration

  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch

  • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, VPNs, load balancing, CDNs, firewalls, and cloud security practices

  • Experience with Git workflows and deployment automation

  • Familiarity with microservices and serverless architectures

  • Experience supporting distributed or multi-region systems is considered an asset

  • Exposure to gaming, iGaming, sweepstakes, fintech, payments, or crypto environments is highly preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Experience operating within regulated or high-risk environments

  • Exposure to blockchain infrastructure, wallets, or crypto-related services

  • Experience handling rapid scaling environments and high transaction volumes

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or similar technologies

  • AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related certifications are considered an asset
