Job Overview
As a DevOps Developer you will combine software development and operations to improve the overall efficiency and quality of software delivery. Your main goal will be to automate and streamline processes from building and testing to deployment and monitoring, supporting continuous integration and delivery. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency, reliability and scalability.
Compensation and Benefits
Location: Multan. Salary: $1,100/month, full‑time. Accommodation provided. The role is open to local candidates, those willing to relocate, and students seeking real‑world experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automation workflows.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for improving overall system performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to infrastructure or code deployments.
- Monitor system health using tools like Nagios or Prometheus.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with automation tools like Jenkins or Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
