The DevOps & Edge Integration Engineer manages cloud and internal infrastructure while handling deployment and data ingestion for customer projects in restricted or air-gapped environments. The role focuses on automation, system integration, and utilizing AI tools to streamline infrastructure operations.
Bridge cloud platform operations and on-site project integration, owning deployment, data ingestion, and automation across cloud, private, and air-gapped environments.
We are hiring a DevOps and Edge Integration Engineer to bridge cloud platform operations and on-site project integration. You will be responsible for internal development, testing, and demo environments, future cloud product infrastructure, and deployment and data ingestion for customer projects in restricted-network, private, or air-gapped environments. AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Pi are used to improve engineering efficiency, while the core remains reliable deployment, operations, integration, and automation.
What you will do- Maintain cloud and internal environments across Azure/GCP, VMs, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines, configuration, certificates, logs, and monitoring
- Build and maintain deployment scripts, installation packages, upgrade and rollback procedures, including private, restricted-network, and air-gapped deployments
- Integrate on-site systems such as BMS/DCIM and IoT gateways, with data ingestion via Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, RESTful APIs, databases, and file interfaces
- Turn repetitive deployment and integration work into reusable scripts, templates, checklists, and health-check tooling
- Use AI engineering tools to support scripting, log analysis, configuration generation, and documentation
- 2-6 years in DevOps, cloud platforms, system integration, deployment engineering, or platform engineering
- Strong Linux, Docker, Shell/Python, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and network troubleshooting
- Basic Kubernetes operations and cloud platform experience (Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud)
- Ability to work in private, restricted-network, offline, or air-gapped environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to use AI coding tools effectively
- Data ingestion via Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, SNMP, RESTful APIs, or file-based interfaces
- Familiarity with BMS/DCIM, SCADA, industrial IoT, edge gateways, or facility monitoring
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, GitOps, or maintaining offline / air-gapped deployments
