Summary
The DevOps Azure Cloud Engineer will maintain and enhance Azure Landing Zones, focusing on security, governance, and hybrid cloud integration using Terraform and Azure platform services. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and partners to support scalable, enterprise-ready cloud infrastructure.
We are looking for an DevOps Azure Cloud Engineer to join a strategic cloud transformation initiative focused on evolving an existing Azure Landing Zone into a secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready cloud platform.
You will play a key role in strengthening governance, security, networking, and operational processes while supporting the adoption of Azure services across the organization. The project is delivered in collaboration with a Microsoft partner and includes a strong focus on hybrid cloud environments integrating Azure with on-premises infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the Azure Landing Zone environment.
- Support Azure Landing Zone hardening initiatives, focusing on security, compliance, and operational resilience.
- Design and implement Azure platform services aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework best practices.
- Manage and optimize Azure networking, including hub-and-spoke architectures.
- Improve cloud operations, monitoring, incident management, and support processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external Microsoft partners.
- Share Azure knowledge and contribute to the growth of cloud capabilities within the organization.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Networking (VNet, Hub-and-Spoke, VPN, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints).
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and Azure security.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Background in supporting production environments, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Interest in hybrid cloud architectures (Azure + on-premises infrastructure).
- Polish and English proficiency sufficient for working in an international environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with enterprise-scale Azure environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience with cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support.
