DevOps Engineer

Summary

Design and automate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes clusters to improve reliability, security, and developer productivity for a client in hybrid Warsaw office.

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer (mid/senior) for our client.

Role Overview:

  • Lead platform initiatives that improve reliability, security, and developer productivity.
  • We encourage the thoughtful use of Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to boost innovation and productivity while adhering to our security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design of CI/CD strategies and infrastructure automation
  • Optimize reliability, performance, and security across services
  • Handle major incident response and root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Drive cost optimization and capacity planning
  • Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers and champion best practices

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 5–7 years in DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineering
  • Strong automation and scripting skills
  • Deep expertise in at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Advanced Kubernetes knowledge (multi-cluster, scaling, upgrades)
  • Track record designing resilient, scalable, and secure systems
  • In-depth knowledge of observability/monitoring and incident management
  • Proficiency in security hardening and compliance-minded engineering
  • Familiar with security and compliance practices (IAM, encryption, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA as relevant)

Soft Skills:

  • Clear, concise communication in English within distributed teams (B2/C1 level)
  • Growth mindset with a bias for automation, measurement, and continuous improvement
  • Pragmatic problem-solving and customer-centric thinking
  • Experience collaborating in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)

Value-Add / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • GitOps (Argo CD or Flux)
  • FinOps practices and cost observability
  • Security best practices (OWASP Top 10, SLSA, SBOM/SCAs)
