DevOps engineer who designs, deploys, and maintains cloud infrastructure while building CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backups, and security for production systems. Core stack: Linux, Docker, a major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions; Kubernetes and Terraform are nice to have.
- 1 - 2 years of professional working experience as DevOps Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and hand-on expertise in configuration management
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS OR Azure OR GCP)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Understanding of web application architectures (APIs, databases, queues)
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (basic to intermediate)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with high-availability systems
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Deployment
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for the system
- Manage environments (Dev / UAT / Production)
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance
CI/CD & Release Management
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and database deployments
- Support zero-downtime or low-downtime releases
- Manage versioning, rollback strategies, and release tagging
System Monitoring & Performance
- Monitor application performance, uptime, and resource usage
- Set up alerts for system health, errors, and capacity thresholds
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices (SSL, secrets management, access controls)
- Manage role-based access for servers, services, and tools
- Ensure secure handling of employee and HR-related data
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Configure automated backups (databases, files, configs)
- Define and test disaster recovery and restore procedures
- Work closely with developers to support deployments and debugging
- Assist QA during testing cycles
- Provide production support and incident resolution
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and SOPs
