Detailed Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer supporting Asian Global Infotech IT Consultancy LLC in Dubai, UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of cloud infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipeline automation, and production monitoring. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes platforms (EKS/Rancher) and Docker, automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK, implementing cloud security and DevSecOps best practices (SonarQube, Checkmarx, SAST, DAST), monitoring and optimizing AWS cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, configuring VPCs, Subnets, Routing, Load Balancers, and API Gateways, and collaborating closely with Development, Security, and Operations teams. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex cloud infrastructure bottlenecks under strict enterprise service level agreements. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, secure, and maintain robust CI/CD deployment pipelines across diverse tooling environments.


• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes platforms (EKS/Rancher) and Docker runtimes.


• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and change management using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.


• Implement comprehensive cloud security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices using SAST, DAST, and scanning tools.


• Monitor, analyze, and optimize AWS cloud resources for high performance, fault tolerance, scalability, and cost efficiency.


• Configure and manage core networking constructs including VPCs, Subnets, Routing Tables, Load Balancers, and API Gateways.


• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional Development, Security, and Operations squads to deliver reliable software solutions.


• Maintain meticulous documentation of cloud architectures, CI/CD runbooks, IaC repositories, and operational run-sheets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.


• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or systems administration.


• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on professional expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) core services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, API Gateway).


• Deep practical proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration (EKS/Rancher) and Docker containerization.


• Solid practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).


• Comprehensive working knowledge of DevSecOps tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx, SAST, DAST) and monitoring suites (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace).


• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under mission‑critical production conditions.


• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong cross‑functional collaboration abilities.


• Mandatory legal work eligibility and physical availability for full‑time on‑site operations in Dubai, UAE.

• Professional cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
