DevOps Engineer (AWS) [Hybrid | Lisbon, Portugal]

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join an international team responsible for building, automating, and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses on improving software delivery processes through automation, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and cloud-native technologies while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and automation, and enjoys collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)


Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Manage and support AWS cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to improve development and deployment workflows.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure secure software delivery by following DevOps and cloud security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Experience with GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Strong understanding of automation, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
