About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong AWS cloud expertise to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, CI/CD automation, containerization, monitoring, and infrastructure as code. The role involves collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using industry-standard tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
- Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment processes.
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ECS/EKS, and Lambda.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security groups, load balancers, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator).
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
