DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Salary: SGD 6000 - 7500 per month

Location: Tanjong Pagar
Working hours: 10am - 7pm
Salary: Basic UP to $7500 + AWS + Attractive variable bonus!

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant teams to deliver releases, plan system maintenance and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Perform daily system monitoring, backups, deployments and maintenance to ensure availability and reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing to support consistent, high-quality software releases.
• Develop scripts for service monitoring, system health checks and routine operational tasks.
• Provision and manage scalable infrastructure using automation, containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate security hardening across testing, deployment and production environments
• Prepare and maintain operational guides, troubleshooting procedures and system documentation
• Promote DevOps practices and continuously improve the release process from development through to production.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve system performance, reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with 2–3 years of relevant experience in DevOps/cloud infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with hands-on experience administering Ubuntu or Debian Linux environments.
• Experience delivering DevOps solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience building reliable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Nexus and Maven.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible AWX/Tower, Chef or Puppet.
• Ability to automate routine processes using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, JavaScript or Groovy.
• Knowledge of networking and load balancing, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and routing.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Vault, Grafana, Prometheus, Keycloak or the ELK stack.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including system designs, user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong collaboration skills, initiative and a willingness to learn new technologies.
