DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer builds and maintains AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for an internal actuarial platform, automating deployments and modernizing legacy systems.

Work hours: 2pm - 10pm CET
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team developing an internal cloud-based actuarial platform. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native solutions while supporting the transition from legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Implement containerized solutions using Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Ensure system reliability, security, monitoring, and performance.
- Support legacy environments and drive cloud modernization initiatives.
- Mentor team members on DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure experience.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar tools.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Cloud migration and platform engineering experience.
- Background in financial, actuarial, or enterprise SaaS environments
