About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a specific focus on blockchain infrastructure to join their team in Welkom. You will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure that supports our innovative blockchain applications and services. This position requires a blend of strong DevOps practices and an understanding of the unique demands of distributed ledger technologies. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cutting‑edge platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications and services.
• Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of blockchain nodes and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage robust security measures for the blockchain infrastructure, including access control and encryption.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with experience in infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its infrastructure requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
