DevOps Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage cloud/Azure infrastructure for a new project using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Overview
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 3 years' experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes. Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Knowledge of cloud services (preferably Azure). Understanding of Agile workflows is advantageous. DevOps-related certifications are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of the Greenfield project core team.
- Collaborate with software developers to design infrastructure solutions based on application requirements.
- Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve development and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain on-premises clusters or Cloud (Azure) infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to application deployments and infrastructure environments.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard data and systems.
- Stay current with DevOps trends, tools, and industry standards.
