DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and ensuring system reliability, performance, and security. This role bridges development and operations, enabling faster delivery and higher quality of software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes

• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability and cost efficiency

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using observability tools

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis

• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and deployment practices

• Manage containerisation and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker)

• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices (DevSecOps)

• Automate routine operational tasks and system maintenance

• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and systems

About you

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (in particular AWS)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Experience with container technologies (Docker)

• Understanding of networking concepts, security, and system administration

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
